Prinze Jr. (sans wife Sarah Michelle Gellar) and former 'NSync

line. I am just wrapping up my new record, so I am focused on
that right now."

Pop star LANCE BASS is hoping to make his Valentine's
Day sweethearts extra happy this year (14FEB06) thanks to the
"swag" he picked up at the Sundance Film Festival last
month (JAN06).
The former 'N SYNC star admits he'll be single this Valentine's
Day and he's making sure potential girlfriends get the right message
by handing out impressive gifts and gadgets that have cost him
nothing.
He explains, "We got tons of swag! I've been to Sundance
for the past five years and I've never seen anything like it in
my entire life... I probably had six boxes of stuff people just
gave me. It was ridiculous.
"I got everything from Phillips electronics - toothbrushes
and cameras - to jewellery and bracelets, tons of clothes. I have
10 iPods right now.
"A lot of my girlfriends love it because most swag is for
females. I do a lot of re-gifting. That'll be my Valentine's presents
this year."

Bass plans Oyster Proposal
(2/10/06) contactmusic
Former 'N SYNC star LANCE BASS has an elaborate underwater
proposal planned for when he finds the girl he wants to spend
the rest of his life with.
The currently-single BYE BYE BYE singer insists he'd have to
do something spectacular - to show his lady love just what she
means to him.
The romantic pop star says, "It's got to be special; you
have to be creative. When I pop the question, which is pretty
scary to think about right now, it would definitely be interesting
and exciting.
"I'm an adrenaline junkie so it would be some kind of crazy
stunt. What's really romantic is you go scuba diving with a girl
and you shuck an oyster and there's the ring inside."
Kingdom Hearts II voicework revealed
(2/9/06) Joystiq
Square Enix's latest press release proves their commitment to
the Kingdom Hearts franchise: Kingdom Hearts II will have an all-star
cast for its characters. Haley Joel Osment, David Gallagher, and
Hayden Panettier all reprise their roles as Sora, Riku, and Kairi,
respectively. Mena Suvari is replacing Mandy Moore as Aerith,
James Woods reprises his role as Hades, and they got the original
Mulan (Ming-Na) to do her voice in the game. We're expecting,
then, to have no qualms with the game's audio.
Square Enix's statement does not include the entire list, so
here is to hoping they kept a majority of voice actors from the
original: Chris Sarandon (Jack Skellington), Billy Zane (Ansem),
David Boreanaz (Squall), Lance Bass (Sephiroth), and Sean
Astin (Hercules).
The game is set for release on March 28th on the PlayStation
2. According to Japanese reviews, this title surpasses the original
in almost every way, so it should make any fan of this Disney/Final
Fantasy hybrid very giddy, indeed.
Modern Version of 'The Great Gatsby'
(2/8/06) StarPulse
Former 'N Sync star Lance Bass is working on a modern movie version
of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic "The Great Gatsby,"
but he fears he's too old to star in the project. The singer hopes
to set the new film, which he'll produce, in a U.S. high school.
The 26-year-old explains, "We're casting for it right now.
I'd love to play a part but I'm probably too old to play a high
school guy."
He added, "A lot of people still see me as that 16-year-old
who first started out, which is very flattering, and I still think
I look like I'm in high school and feel like I'm in high school,
but the other producers say I can't play 21 anymore."
This production marks the fifth time that "The Great Gatsby"
had been committed to film -- the best known version being Jack
Clayton's 1974 adaptation, featuring Robert Redford as Gatsby
and Mia Farrow as Daisy.
Sigler finds Valentine's Love
(2/7/06) contactmusic
Newly-single THE SOPRANOS star JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER has found a
new man to celebrate Valentine's Day (14FEB06) with - former 'N
SYNC singer LANCE BASS.
The pair have been friends for many years and now they're falling
in love in a new Disney children's TV series, which will air in
America on 14 February (06).
Sigler will voice a lovestruck teacher on hit show HIGGLYTOWN
HEROES, and her character, MISS FERN, will fall for Bass' MR ELECTRICIAN
during a special St Valentine's Day episode.
Sigler says, "We mentioned to Disney how funny it would
be if Miss Fern and the electrician got together as a joke. Lo
and behold up comes this Valentine's Day episode."
The actress insists she's upbeat about spending St Valentine's
Day alone - after splitting from husband AJ DiSCALA last year
(05).
She adds, "I've been single on Valentine's Day before. It's
not gonna be an emotional thing for me. I'm not gonna look at
it that way. It's a new year and a new beginning and I love all
the candy that comes out on Valentine's Day.
"I have great family and friends that I love and that is
really what the day is about - love. It doesn't necessarily have
to be celebrated with a boyfriend or a husband or anything...
I'm not one of those bitter people who hate it or think that it's
pointless. I think it's a good day."
Notes from all over

2(x)ist, makers of trendy mens underwear, handed out freebies
at the Super Bowl celebrity gift lounge, and is able to answer
at least when it comes to a few celebs that burning
question: boxers or briefs? Jessica Alba picked up boxer briefs
for sweetie Cash Warren as well as a pair of square-cut trunks.
She also picked up tank tops for herself. Seahawks quarterback
Matt Hasselbeck walked away with crewneck tees in his team colors
green and blue. Andre 3000 Benjamin went for
the boxers, and also some crewneck tees. Former boybanders Joey
Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick also went for boxers. . .
. . . White R&B crooner Robin Thicke says he gets stereotyped
because of his race. I believe if I was black nobody would
compare me to Justin Timberlake, Thicke tells the
February/March issue of Complex mag. I feel like, if hes
Michael Jackson, Im Prince. Hes an amazing talent
and hes going to be making music for a long time, and so
am I.
But sure, when his song came on the radio, Id
say, That mother[bleeper] Wheres my song?
Beyond the Boy Bands
(2/5/06) OrlandoSentinel
'N Sync's Joey Fatone has probably done as well on the
big screen as any of the boy-banders, with small roles in two
films that had Oscar nominations attached to them: The Cooler
and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Up next for the still-Central-Florida-based
crooner: a comedy with Whoopi Goldberg.
Fellow 'N Sync-er Justin Timberlake appears to be an up-and-coming
screen darling. After bit parts in several movies, he's voicing
young King Arthur in the upcoming Shrek 3; has a leading role
in Black Snake Moan, a romance for release later this year, starring
Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci; and will join Bruce Willis
and Sharon Stone for Alpha Dog.

Don't worry, it's PG-ish, moms!"
