Cat: Now you were first on the show with *NSYNC about 5 years ago. It was a long time ago. Why did you decide now for your solo career?

JC: Ya know what, everybody's got their own path in life and when *NSYNC did their last tour, J wanted to go off and do his record right away and me...I needed to hit the reset button, I just needed to spend time with my family, go be with my friends. I mean, the guys in *NSYNC are my best friends but i've also got other friends that are my best friends, and ya know...when you're on the road for 8-9 years you neglect those people because because you're away so long...and I just needed to get back to being me. So I spent time with my family and friends and when I was getting ready I decided to make a record.

Cat: Now are you prepared for all these comparisons that are obviously going to be drawn between you and Justin

JC: I've already got a pile of them, i'm not too worried about it. At the end of the day, our records are very different. The thing is, when you heard Justin's record it was totally different from an *NSYNC record, as my record is totally different from an *NSYNC record and it's totally different from a Justin record. You're gonna get a whole 'nother flavor from me.

Cat: Yeah, which is good. Is there any rivalry, like even be it good-hearted

JC: I talked to him 2 days ago, life is good. *laughs* All it is, ya know...I call him he's talking to me, "How you doin, man? Good. Yeah cool, man, keep it up. Blah blah blah How's the flick going? Good. Keep your chin up." We look out for eachother.

Cat: So you have spoken to the rest of the *NSYNC boys

JC: Of course, yeah.

Cat: What are they all up to at the moment?

JC: Er, Lance is trying to be still a Basstronaut, I guess. *crowd laughs* Joey's actually working on another film, he's doing some other things like that, he's thinking about doing Broadway again. He already did Rent. Chris is actually working on a record now and he's almost done.

Cat: Do you think that you will all come back together? Do think thatyou can all establish solo carers.

JC: We had this disscussion 2 days ago, we talk about it all the time, we reassure each other all the time, we'll actually all be together at CFTC, which is our charity event, we're gonna sing there and people will see us together

Cat: So we'll see you performing there together

JC: *nods* mhmm

Cat: And you've got a very exciting thing coming up - touring with Britney

JC: It's gonna be good stuff, man! Yeeah.

Cat: When do you start?

JC: I'm literally here for a couple more days, and then I go back to the States to rehearse, shooting the next video for the record, and then i'm right back over here, and i'm on the road. We're out and about, gonna be singing and dancing, it's gonna be gooood.

Cat: And are you quiet friendly anyway?

JC: Yeah, ya know what, we grew up together, and er...we might not talk all the time, but the thing is we share a mutual respect and friendship. We're excited. When we work together, we're like, "hope you do well"...whatever. We're friends, life is good.

Cat: It'll be fun. Well thankyou very much for joining us this morning.

JC: Thankyou for having me.

Cat: Great new single, everybody enjoyed it *crowd cheers*

Me... I don't really want to be anyone else!

I hope I am! I don't want to scare myself! I think I'm ok.

Do you miss being in *NSYNC?

JC says:
I'm still very much a part of it so I don't get a chance to miss it.

Do you still talk to Justin Timberlake? What for?

JC says:
Of course! We're still really good mates.
