...You have to love those excusing co-President Dick Cheney dropping
an F-bomb in a public Senate session. Aren't these the same people
worked into a fire and brimstone conniption over a two-second glimpse
of Janet Jackson's breast at the Super Bowl?
And while we're at it, isn't it amazing how Justin Timberlake escaped
responsibility for his role in Nipplegate? It's great to be a rich
white guy in America...

U.S. representative Harold Ford's cup runneth over. The political
newsletter Roll Call reported that FedEx plans a party in honor
of the highly visible congressman at this month's Democratic convention
in Boston. Entertainer Justin Timberlake is rumored to be aboard.

...ELIZABETH Tayor hasn't called it quits totally. She just allowed
photographer Bruce Weber snap her for French Vogue. More surprising,
she sat for an interview! And, she's on the guest list for Barbara
Davis' annual Carousel Ball in October.
SPEAKING OF Barbara's Carousel fete, beauteous Halle Berry will
receive the "Brass Ring" Award from Oprah Winfrey. This
is a night of nights in Hollywood.
Get this stellar lineup: Nicole Kidman, Barbra Streisand, Justin
Timberlake, Ben Affleck, Neil Diamond, Tea Leoni, Bette Midler,
Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Marisa Tomei,
Rebecca De Mornay, Harrison Ford, Sting, Nicolas Cage, Dustin Hoffman,

its MusicFreedom.com Fan Club featuring JC Chasez.
It's 'Share JC with a Friend' Month!
(7/1/04) Kathy@DirtyPop.net
Throughout the month of July, JC fans around the world will be
sharing his music with others who may as yet be unfamiliar with
it. If you'd like to participate, there are four activities associated
with the project:
1) Sharing JC with a friend
The project itself is simply about exposure. Share JC’s music
with others. Take Schizophrenic out of your CD player and
loan it to someone who isn’t currently a fan. Buy a CD for
someone. Play the CD in your car or at home while unexposed friends
are around. Be a part of this concerted fan effort to promote the
album at the grass roots level, and create some new fans in the
process.
It probably goes without saying, but just in case-- no CDs
or songs are to be copied for this project.
2) Promoting "Share JC" Month
If you would like to help get the word out to other fans about
"Share JC with a Friend" month, there are banners, EZBoard
and LJ icons, and other graphics available here.
You may direct-link to them if you don't have your own web space,
but please upload to your own server if you can.
3) Best Promotional Graphic contest
A prize item autographed by JC and courtesy of MusicFreedom.com
will be awarded to the designer of the best promotional graphic
for "Share JC with a Friend" month.
Promo graphics can be banners, animations, LJ icons, AIM icons,
EZBoard icons, buttons, wallpapers... any visual media.
Graphics must be displayed somewhere on the net in support of the
event. If you need a place to host your graphics, you can send them
to chasexilicious@dirtypop.net,
who is graciously donating her personal web space. Please link your
graphic to http://www.dirtypop.net/sharejc.html where possible,
so people can get more information.
To enter your graphic(s) in the contest, a link or links to the
web page(s) where the graphics are being displayed must be sent
to sharejc@dirtypop.net
on or before July 26, 2004.
Judges from DirtyPop.net and Music Freedom will choose the winning
graphic, based on originality, quality and effectiveness as a promotional
tool (effectiveness inherent to the graphic itself, not to the particular
locations where it has been posted). We'll announce the winner here
at DirtyPop.net on August 1, 2004. The winner will also be notified
at the email address from which the entry was submitted.
4) Success stories
We’d love to hear your success stories! If you (and JC) win
anyone over, let us know what they thought about the album. Emails
can be sent from you, or directly from the people who enjoyed the
music. Please send emails to sharejc@dirtypop.net.
We'll put all the stories up here at DirtyPop!
