“The song I released wasn't even supposed to be a
single. I guess after it came out… they were like,
'You've got to do a record now, it's kind of a big
deal.’”

US leads UK chart for first time
(7/9/04) BBC

US music acts outperformed British artists in the UK album charts for the first time last year, according to figures from the UK record industry.

American artists sold 45.4% of albums compared with the UK's 42.3%, the British Phonographic Industry said.

Hamptons Diary
(7/9/04) Bridget Harrison, Thomas Hinton and Dan Kadison New York Post

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE hit the East End this week but didn't see much of the Hamptons.

The millionaire pop prince flew in for a Bruce Weber photo shoot for GQ on Wednesday afternoon at the 5.7-acre Andy Warhol estate on the rocky ocean side shore of Montauk — which Weber is renting for the summer, Diary hears.

Afterward, Timberlake bedded down at opulent Georgica Pond mansion Goose Creek in East Hampton, a home that rents for a whopping $75,000 a week...

Music Freedom website issues being addressed
(7/9/04) Gina at MusicFreedom

It has come to my attention that there was never a size indicator on the Music Freedom VIP section. We were told that there was by the guys who design the site. We apologize for that, and we will be getting every last person's size for the future gifts they will be receiving.

As for the t-shirts VIP members have now, if yours is totally the wrong size and you would like a different one please email the site. If you will be at Challenge for the Children, please ask for me (Gina) at the Music Freedom booth and I will exchange your shirt for you.

Before the next package containing any sort of clothing goes out, you will be asked your size. We are dearly sorry and furious that we were lied to about this situation.

Also, the exclusive video clips that are on the site right now, the 20 second ones, will be longer within the next 24 hours. We have been complaining about this problem since the clips went up.

Things at the site will be much better in the near future.
