Achin’ for Aiken

In Style magazine hits newsstands Friday with its seventh
annual "What's Sexy Now" poll.
So what's sexy now?
Clay Aiken.
That's right, the gawky "American Idol" runner-up
won Sexiest Singer in a landslide over Justin Timberlake,
Usher and Enrique Iglesias, "Entertainment Tonight"
reports...

There are rumblings of even more sour notes for Justin Timberlake's
poor, discarded bandmates.
Justin is rumoured to be working on a solo album —
as without his *NSYNC baggage — which could push the
group's reunion plans even further back than expected.
JT is also busy working on his film career and will soon
need to do some travelling to promote his debut acting role
in Edison. He'll even appear before The Queen of England and
the Prince of Wales this December at The Royal Variety Show
to drum up some publicity for the flick.
Not to be outdone, the rest of *NSYNC will perform in front
of American royalty in downtown L.A. around the same time
— busking on the street corner in front of their local
Burger King and Dairy Queen.

Justin Timberlake could be going for a rock feel for his
next album.
He hinted to GQ magazine that he may not join the rest of
*NSYNC for a reunion album because he wants to concentrate
on his follow up to 'Justified'.
He also said he'd like to try a different direction and has
been influenced by bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman
Brothers. He told GQ he'd like to try some southern rock on
for size.
Charging head first into the fall movie season
Hollywood releases kick into high gear with lots of big names

...Take a chance and watch "Cursed," the new Wes
Craven film that reunites the director with his "Scream"
star, Skeet Ulrich. The movie has been shot and reshot several
times, even with a completely different cast. One of the film's
stars doesn't even know how her role fits in with the new
movie. This sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it's one
I'll be there for on opening night. Oh, and if my word isn't
good enough, it's got Scott Baio and Lance Bass in it - playing
themselves...
[Ed. Note: Cursed is actually scheduled for a February
25, 2005 release.]
Guys, don't be a hairbrain; grab a brush

If clothes make the man, then hair's likely a close second.
Although copycat cuts are always more likely for women than
for men -- ''the Rachel'' and ''Caesar'' come to mind -- it's
important for the stylin' guy to brush up on what's up with
the latest.
Here's some help from Cynthia Winston, salon director and
men's grooming consultant at Van Michael Miami Salon, 1667

are youthful and rebellious,'' Winston says. She cites such
celebrities as Justin Timberlake and David Beckham, who continued
to melt hearts as well as sell magazines through their cue-ball
days...
